PREFACE
Alhamdulillah, finally this thesis is finished. This is aimed to make the
reader understand about the effect of using Shared Reading Strategy in
improving students’ reading comprehension. Besides that, this is performed to
give the students point of view that learning using a method is important to
make the study, especially for reading easier. From the fact above, the students
are able to improve their reading comprehension by using Shared Reading
Strategy as the method of teaching learning process.
From the reasons above, the writer conducted the research about the
effect of using Shared Reading Strategy on seventh year students’ reading
comprehension at SMPN 1 Cermee Bondowoso in the academic year of
2014/2015.
From the research, the writer hopes that the students can enjoy reading
activities in English class. Thus, they are able to obtain good comprehension
on reading comprehension.
