The students swim in full clothes for 3-5 minutes, criss-cross through each other, then assume the HELP posture using a choice of various types of equipment and then switching from one piece of equipment to another by turning around by treading water and picking something new.

Falling in the water, swimming on the belly to a boat/mat, climbing in/on the boat/mat, falling off/out backwards, treading water with a full turn, swimming to the side of the pool on the back and climbing out of the pool.

Fully clothed swimming: falling in the water through a (hidden) hole in a mat in the water, swimming out from under the hole, swimmingto the mat with the hole, swimming under the mat and coming up through the hole, climbing out of the hole and (if required, by swimming closer to the side of the pool) climbing out of the pool.
