Introduction

The DotCom Bubble happened in the end of the1990s.・It is the extraordinary general atmosphere of investment in DotCom company.・In 1999-2000, stock prices increased more than usually, but DotCom Bubble burst in 2001.

What DotCom Bubble?

The dot-com bubble was a stock market bubble which popped to near-devastating effect in 2001. It was powered by the rise of Internet sites and the tech industry in general, and many of these companies went under or learned some valuable lessons when the bubble finally burst. Many investors lost substantial sums of money on the dot-com bubble, helping to trigger a mild economic recession in the early 2000s.

In India, investment in the software related grew.  ーThis exerted a positive impact to India.・In China, stock price that the IT related company take the whole operation public fetch high prices. ーBut China did not take a severe hit.

According to dot-com theory, an Internet companyssurvival depended on expanding its customer base as rapidly as possible, even if it produced large annuallosses. Amazon was spending on expanding customer base and alerting people to its existence and Google was busy spending on creating more powerful machine capacity to serve its expanding search engine.
