HOW IT WORKSThis innovative new product is made up of a system of metal posts and receiver brackets mounted to each door section and the wall. The wall mounted post and the door mounted bracket mate when the door closes, tightly pulling and securing the door to the wall.

The posts are attached to the steel angle beam separate from the garage door track.
The bracket slides over the post when the garage door is closed.
The bracket is bolted to each panelof the garage door.
The Door Safe provides the missing positive pressure between the door and the door frame, or sides of the opening, as it engages during the last moment when the door closes. The Door Safe is designed to be robust, durable, and easy to install. It’s reliability is proven testing which showed the Door Save easily doubled the industry standard of 10,000 cycles (opening and closing) with little wear.
The Door Safe, a patent pending product, is for use with residential and commercial overhead sectional garage doors. It provides an improved garage door closing and sealing system that significantly improves the security, wind resistance and energy efficiency of the door. The Door Safe works independently of the standard door track which is the primary weak point defeated in burglaries.
Currently, only the track on your garage door, which must have a certain amount of slack to work, and the mild pressure from weather stripping, seals the door.
The Door Safe also comes with a weatherstrip as an added sealant that works uniquely in conjunction with the Door Safe. This weatherstrip works as an extra seal because the additional pressure from the Door Safe is pushing the door tight against the weatherproof strip, versus a wood door pushing on a wood wall.
