• This documentary has a circular, with complex, narrative. This means that the documentary starts at the end and then flicks back to the beginning of the event and goes through how and what happened. • A lot of the camera work is hand held footage.• This is because a lot of the material is archived footage.• For example, there’s footage from Marilyn Manson gigs,

reconstructions, so they play emotive music that’s relevant with the scene. In the reconstruction of the girls killing the nun, they play music with a fast, tense tempo, this is to make the audience feel stressed and on edge to recreate the emotion of the act.

• The pace of the documentary changes depending on the scene and how they want you to feel at that time.

• For example, they increase the pace of the scene in moments such as: talking about the nuns death and in the reconstruction of the killing, this is to increase the intensity of the scene.

• For example all of the footage from Marilyn Manson gigs and concerts were archived material, the footage from the police going about the town where the nun was killed is also archived material.

• This particular documentary doesn’t have a wide use of graphics. The only graphics for this documentary is the use of subtitles to translate the Italian speakers so everything is understood.
