OUTREACH Outreach is a natural outgrowth of music performance and teaching because

connecting with audiences and other musician as performer and teacher is critical

to our very existence. All of our student ensembles and music faculty members

perform several times per year in formal concerts and recitals, as well as for a

wide variety of events on campus and around the community. Music faculty

members present master classes and workshops for local, state, and regional high

school students who demonstrate an interest in and talent for music

performance. Our interaction with area schools and performances for the

community are a hallmark of our regular activities. Music faculty, ensembles, and

students present nearly 200 performances and boast numerous appearances in

master classes and clinics annually in the local community and on campus.
