•Visitors to the Denver Art Museum see more than amazing collections and exciting exhibitions. Through the Artist at Work program, individuals can actually witness the creative process and see pieces of art come to life before their eyes. The program includes three different initiatives, the first of which is the Native Arts Artist-in-Residence Studio on the third floor of the North Building. With the assistance of the National Endowment for the Arts, this space now features Linda Aguilar, a Chumash basket maker who offers live demonstrations and leads hands-on basket-making activities.

•Studio Demos, the second initiative, reserves space on the first floor of the Hamilton Building for various artists to work on their projects and teach about the creative process. The theme of the space continually changes but will remain Drawing Studio until April. Here, visitors will learn the basics of drawing and have the opportunity to work with graphite, chalk, ink, and crayons, among other media.

•The Artist at Work program also includes Insider Moments, a series of informal conversations with artists currently featured in exhibits at the museum. Learn more at DenverArtMuseum.orgDenverArtMuseum.org.
