DESCRIPTION
What happens to rejected art? What happens to doodles sketched in the margins of legal pads and on napkins in fast food restaurants, or canvas portraits deemed mistakes and discarded? What about outlines, rough sketches, and first attempts that never see the light of day? Whether their “Creator” is an established artist, a child with a crayon, or a love-infused Romeo with a pencil and notebook--where do their creations go? The garbage? Most share this fate: They're crumpled into balls and tossed into the paper basket. But what about the ones that miss the basket? They live on, tossed out of our world and dropped like paper meteorites into another. It’s a world much like our own, except everyone and everything is made of, well, paper. The characters they will meet are revised, finished, and drawn on far better stock. Our "rejects" flatten themselves out as best they can and try to find the meaning in their lives that their Creator could not.TRANSCRIPT
