Overview | The Council Of Graduate Students

• CGS is the official branch of student government that

represents every graduate student at the main and

branch campuses.

• It is our main purpose to work towards continual

improvement of the graduate student experience at

the Ohio State University.

• 100 plus Delegates elected by department members in Spring Quarter• Have voting privileges at our monthly meetings• ‘Required’ to serve on at least one committee and to attend our monthly meeting

• Senators

• Elected by the CGS Delegates• Represent 10 academic areas• Required to attend Senate meetings and ‘encouraged’ to attend our monthly meeting
