Welcome to CopenhagenFASHION FESTIVALYou are invited to WHAT Copenhagen Fashion Festival - where large parts of the capital are transformed into a fashion mecca with everything from inspiring trend shows and artsy exhibitions to exclusive sales and fabulous parties.

The festival is WHEN February 1-5, 2012, where it is accompanied by wintery Wondercool events and Fashion Night Out with lots of champagne and beautiful surprises. February is not cold and boring!

Copenhagen Fashion Festival is open to WHO everyone – no matter if you carry your fashionista on the inside or on the outside. Large screens will be showing the latest fashion shows WHERE at Rådhuspladsen and Højbro Plads. HOW with this guide in your bag, you have all the direct paths, secret shortcuts, alternative shopping routes and green walks to the most exciting fashion experiences nearat hand.

The visionary photographer duo Peter Farago and Ingela Klemetz Farago, has as part of an exclusive collaboration with CHANEL in 2010 and 2011, created full fashion stories featuring 45 of the most sought-after supermodels from the Nordic and Baltic countries. The project has resulted in a lavish coffee table book and a touring photography exhibition, both entitled NORTHERN WOMEN IN CHANEL.

For the exhibition at the Designmuseum Danmark, NORTHERN WOMEN IN CHANEL has been enriched with a polaroid suite of black and white portraits, intimate bare moments with the beauties captured by the photographers.

These polaroids will also be published in a new, highly exclusive edition entitled BARE MOMENTS. Limited to 111 individually hand-numbered copies worldwide, each signed by Peter Farago & Ingela Klemetz Farago, BARE MOMENTS comes together with NORTHERN WOMEN IN CHANEL as a 2 volume Exclusive Collector’s Edition in a cloth slipcase.

FAVOURITE DANISH DESIGNER? My personal favourite is definitely Spon Diogo. Their minimalistic universe and simple colour scheme fits perfectly into my wardrobe. The designers Mia and Rui are some of the nicest people in the world too.

FAVOURITE STORE IN COPENHAGEN? There are many, but if I have to choose a few, it would be Storm, Nag and &Pagne. I shop high street at Cos. They have fantastic things at reasonable prices. I buy pretty notebooks and beautiful paper at Cinnober and music on LP at Soundstation.

BEST SHOPPING TIP? Plan the season. Research the new tendencies and consider which items you should invest in to update your wardrobe so it is ready for the new season.

THREE MUST-HAVES FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON? Hejle Hamre had some really nice grey silk shorts at his first show in Copenhagen. I would like to get my hands on those. A simple dress from Spon Diogo, preferably in black. Although, I am considering a white one, which does count as a colour in my world. A pair of chunky shoes from Céline. Ultra high heels. Being platforms too, it should be possible to walk in them.

FAVOURITE DANISH DESIGNER? It is hard to pick a favourite. I have to say that most of my clothes are Danish. I love Designers Remix’ sharp lines and little details. I love the excessiveness and glitter of By Malene Birger. It is ideal for any dinner party. I love wackerhaus for the pastel, angel, adventure universe and Lollys Laundry for their scarves and knits... knits knits knits!

YOUR BEST BEAUTY TIP? A good vitamine E supplement both morning and evening during the cold months. My personal favourite is without any additives.

FAVOURITE PLACE IN COPENHAGEN? I love Bistro Boheme. It is just like Paris, only in Copenhagen. Their steak with béarnaise sauce is the best in town.

collaboration with Chloë Sevigny made me happy.

HOW DO WE GET THE MOST OUT OF OUR SHOPPING? Again - a pair of classic men’s shoes go with everything. My closet is full of shirts, t-shirts

and jeans which can be styled for any occasion with the right shoes. Shoes are the most important part of an outfit - that is just how it is.

THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN COPENHAGEN? Oh, there are so many good places. I would recommend Grød in Jægersborggade. I was really excited,

when I first heard about that place. It is a great concept, it is cheap and the staff is very friendly. It is genius.
