BehaviorCommon map turtles spend the winter under water and do not reach the surface to breath. Adults rest on the bottom wedged underneath rocks or logs and hibernate communally with other common map turtles
Enemies• The enemies are water population
that can kill its primary food source of molluscs Also building and farming is a threat too because it may cause reduction in this species’ population size
Defense/Offense•Common map turtles defend themselves by hiding in there shell
