D.I.Y. COOLING LIP BALM

Materials:

1 tablespoon solid vegetable shortening 1 teaspoon honey 1 packet (13 - 23-ounces or enough to make 2 quarts)

unsweetened flavored powdered drink mix, such as Kool Aid ¼ teaspoon of hot water

Instructions:

Combine the vegetable shortening and 1 teaspoon of honey in a small bowl.

Then in a separate bowl stir together the drink mix and ¼ teaspoon of water until the powder is totally dissolved.

Next, combine the water mixture (a drop or two at a time) into the base mixture until the balm is colored and/or scented to your liking.

Note: You can refrigerate the Lip Balm in an empty clean container for

up to three days.
