I am free from want for "my God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil. 4:19
I am free from fear for "God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Tim. 1:7
I am free from doubt for "God hath given to every man the measure of faith." Rom. 12:3
I am free from weakness, "for the Lord is the strength of my life." Ps. 27:1 and "the people know their God shall be strong and do exploits." Dan. 11:32
I am free from the power of Satan "for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world." 1 Jn. 4:4
I am free from defeat "for God always causeth me to triumph in Christ Jesus." 2 Cor. 2:14
I am free from ignorance, "for Christ Jesus is made unto me wisdom from God." 1 Cor. 1:30
I am free from sin "for the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth me from all sin." 1 Jn. 1:7
I am free from worry "for I am to cast my cares upon Him." 1 Pet. 5:7
I am free from bondage "for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." 2 Cor. 3:17
I am free from condemnation, "for there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom. 8:1

Hurricane Update and Thank YOU Like most of you - your church has been in "hurricane recovery" since last October 10th . We like to be conservative, but when all is said and done: Our campus will be improved over what it was before the hurricane. In terms of $$$, we may not have a "buffer" as we were projecting, but we should not be much "out of pocket" Many people and sister congregations and the PC (USA) denomination have been very generous and helpful. WE still have some giving OUT to do as well (supporting other missions- not just spending it all on ourselves)
Thank you Mary Lu Andreu as she has been our overseer with our contract work. Thank you to treasurer Chuck Morgan for also working VERY hard to oversee our finances (with the help of office manager Connie Butts) . Main projects still to be done - the carpet cleaning and the repair of sanctuary pews. Many, Many people worked very hard together to prepare our Education Building (especially 3rd floor and Fellowship Hall) for VBS. You really should go upstairs and see how wonderful everything is; including eye catching beautiful murals. Again, we wish we could single out all those who gave of themselves to clean and arrange and throw out items that have "been there a long time".

AUGUST 13th
There will be a large group event (dinner and program) for all women. Watch for details to come.
Sunday, June 30th We enjoyed "Youth Sunday" and Lu Ann Law presented a movie/ slide show recapping Vacation Bible School and Senior High Montreat. Anna Beth Milton and Anna Barber were out liturgists and did an outstanding job. Anna Beth and Anna also read Scriptures from Jeremiah ("I'm Only a youth" and the Gospel of John (Peter's denial and being restored: "Do you love Me?) The young ladies explained the theme "Let Love Lead" and shared what God's love is - Agape (unconditional) Love.
The Men’s Group in our Church
is known as
“GOD’S WARRIORS”
June 12th we completed our study on “Twelve Ordinary Men. How the Master shaped His disciples for greatness and what He wants to do with you.”
Roy Turner has been our treasurer and reminds us that a contribution of $5 each meeting is encouraged so that we can accomplish our goals of supporting all church functions (fish-fry, rally day, trunk or treat, Christmas gifts for Jackson County orphans).
All men are welcome! Bring a friend!! God’s Warriors will help Wednesday , July 3 as we watch the fireworks from our church lawn. We need volunteers to help with tables and chair , and to bring a watermelon.
RALLY DAY Men please mark your calendars for August 12th. We will be hosting breakfast that day and we will be serving at 8:30am.
NOT TOO LATE !

****************************** VBS 2019 IN THE BOOKS !
Over 35 children enjoyed Vacation Bible
School’s Marvelous Mission theme this summer. Many volunteers worked hard to make VBS a success. We thank each of you for your contributions. Our children grew closer to God, learned scripture, and enjoyed being together. When we work together to further God’s mission in our church, lives, and community, joy will surround us.

A NEW WAY OF DOING THINGS
With the resignation of Connie Butts as full-time Office Manager, the Session has approved of a new way to serve your church and keep the office run- ning smoothly. We have divided the tasks into three main categories and assigned them as follows:
1. Accountant — Connie Butts. She will be in the office on Mondays and also ad- ditional time here and there throughout the month. She will handle anything to do with finances as well as other routine office needs to keep continuity. Her cell # is 850-509-6252.
2. Communications — Leslie Kelley. She
will be in the office on Wednesdays to prepare the Sunday bulletin and main- tain the Session records.
3. Information Technology — Patty An- dreu. She will be working on Fridays to do the Newsletters, Calendars, Website, Social Media, Flyers and any other tech- nology to keep you informed.
The persons chosen for these positions have great expertise in their area and we believe will do a good job for you.
Deepest sympathy to the family and friends of James D Swearingen III. James D passed away on June 27, 2019 Thursday. Special prayers for The Rackley family and precious Lyla who lost her Daddy.

Thank you to my church family for all the expressions of love and support on the death of my mother, Margery McKee in Austin. My sister and I both flew to Austin Thursday, June 13 and had a good goodbye. Mother died Saturday the 15th and last Sunday we had a small family ceremony at the Lady bird Johnson Gardens and scattered her ashes. We felt your prayers. God is good and His love endure forever. Linda Wamsley Thank you to our VBS Director Ashley Rackley who did an extraordinary ministry leading us to a very successful Vacation Bible School week. We enjoyed 30 wonderful children of God each day and the volunteers gave of themselves in every way - teaching and loving the children. (wish we could list all the adults and youth who helped !!!) Each day included: an opening and closing; storytelling, Bible Challenge, games, crafts and snack! All rotations emphasized the Bible theme for the day. And ice cream social was held the evening of the last day (Thursday) Everyone prayed for Colton Hinson who had his tonsils removed Thursday
These are the birthdays that we are currently aware of.
