Acquired November 2020 from Totnes, Devon
Archive on acquisition stored in 50+ large cardboard boxes with multiple document wallets
or other files, or loose papers, in each. Whole archive was in quite poor condition, suffering
from damp/mould damage and damage caused by mice. Most of the archive contained
photocopied articles. Decision taken for preservation was to digitise photocopies and retain
any handwritten material or other more unusual items. The new archive listing after
preservation is now stored as follows:

(notice multi headed). It was found in tomb of Tutankhamen/grain found and
planted next door to this lady’s father’s farm near Tiverton in Devon and grew
after 2000 years in the tomb to form these heads”.
