ST. PAUL’S IS SETTING OUT ON A JOURNEY
St. Paul’s will be participating in the Synod’s “Forward Together in Faith” Capital Campaign MAP (Missional Assessment Profile) survey that seeks to EQUIP, INNOVATE, COMMUNICATE, and NETWORK together for a new era of being church. The survey is a measurement of our congregation’s impact, effectiveness and potential.
We are setting out on a journey to explore what that means for us here at St. Paul’s. In order to get an idea of what we will need for our journey we are asking people connected to our ministry to fill out the MAP survey. The information gained from this survey will be instrumental in assisting the leadership of our congregation prepare and plan for the future of this congregation.
The survey will be circulated the week of May 2. Once you receive it, PLEASE MAKE THIS SURVEY A PRIORITY and use it to share your
experiences and perspectives about our church.
We are excited about this journey of faith – we are excited about the forward focus of what’s next for us, we are excited about doing it together, and we thank you in advance for participating!
In Christ,
Pastor Laura Tancredi (Associate Pastor), Don Parman (President), Josephine Norquist (Chair of Evangelism) and Bill Henderson (Synod Liaison)
The Chimes, the newsletter of Saint Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, is published for the inspiration, education and entertainment of its members and friends. Comments and suggestions are welcome. They are BACK ....the Baby Bottles
to collect Your Change to help Change Baby’s Lives with Baby
Manna.
Don’t be alarmed if you see your ten year old carrying a
baby bottle or see large baby bottles appearing at St. Paul’s. Social Ministry and the Sunday School children are
teaming up to collect spare change (and bills!) for Baby Manna.
Children and adults are invited to take home a baby bottle and fill it with change. When it’s
full bring it back to church and empty it into
one of the giant baby bottles in the narthex or Parish Hall. You can take it home again and keep
refilling it with your spare change. We will be collecting
until after Mother's Day, Sunday, May 15th.
Baby Manna is Philabundance’s formula for addressing the needs of at-risk infants throughout the Delaware Valley. Struggling families are often forced to water down formula, start introducing solid foods too soon or make other adjustments because of limited resources. Baby Manna ensures that more babies have the opportunity for proper nutrition at the most critical development time of their lives.
Please consider the many ways God has blessed you and consider contributing your pocket change to make a change
in the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors.
