Building the Future - Large Scale Interventions“Building the Future - Large Scale Interventions” is a Program for Green Buildings and Sustainable Development. Its main objective is the contribution to the achievement of national targets for energy savings of 20% by 2020.The main idea of the project is to involve the public sector, the building industry and professionals and the citizens in an attempt to ameliorate energy efficiency and decrease energy consumption of the Greek residential and commercial buildings. This will be accomplished through a series of twelve “interventions”, such as replacement or installation of windows, insulation, cool roofs etc, by the use of innovative energy efficient products and systems
