Since 1960, the Austrian Armed Forces (AAF) have gained 49 years of experience in Crisis Response Operations (CRO), Peace Support Operations (PSO), Peace Operations (PO), with a participation of more than 70,000 Austrian troops in numerous missions all over the world. For that purpose our soldiers undergo specific training. The AAF main focus within the enhanced Partnership for Peace (PfP) is to achieve interoperability, primarily for CROs. The AAF have long-standing experience with multinational forces on battalion level. The AAF participate in International EU-, NATO-, OSCE- and UN-led operations.TRANSCRIPT
