Ramps at the sole discretion of the judge, approved breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp: Boykin Spaniels, Clumber Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Whippets, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei, Chow Chows, Keeshonden & Polish Lowland Sheepdogs. (Boykin Spaniels & Whippets may be judged on the table, ramp or on the ground.)Basset Hounds are expected to be judged on the ramp during breed judging.This list may be revised from time to time, and the current list can be found on the AKC website in Judging Operations. A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give reasonable notice to the Show Superintendent/Show Secretary prior to the day of the show. AKC approval is not required.Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed. (In all but emergency situations, the exhibitor has no recourse. In an emergency situation, where use of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry and receiving a refund.)

EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE - EACH EVENTGROOMING SPACE IS LIMITED and will be clearly defined for these events. Please cooperate with the following conditions as they will be strictly enforced by the Show Chairpersons and their respective committees in order to afford all exhibitors adequate grooming space.Specialty Clubs will have reserved designated grooming areas.Private Ex-pens must have plastic underneath and must be placed in the aisles only, as directed by the Event Committee. ALL PRIVATE EX-PENS MUST BE REMOVED BY 7:00 A.M.Playpens will NOT be permitted in place of crates.NO CARPETS, PLAYPENS, EX-PENS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GROOMING AREA.NO SAVING OF SPACE BY ANY DEVICE.CRATES MUST BE STACKED!NO SOFT-SIDED CRATES with exception of Obedience Day Crating Areas.NO UNENTERED DOGS PERMITTED.Note: All parking fees collected by State of Ohio Fairgrounds. Parking Fees are contracted to an outside agency AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME. The kennel club neither control nor does it benefit from any of the proceeds.Parking - An event pass is available for $14.00 (in/out privileges); or $5.00 per day (without in/out privileges). Space for Handicapped Parking is available in front of IN entrances only.NO PARKING in the unloading areas.Please follow the signs.A night watchman will be on duty. Dogs may be left in their crates overnight.Building will be available for exhibitors after 3:00 P.M. on Friday (NO EARLIER) and will close at 10:00 P.M. each night. Building will open at 6:00 A.M. on Saturday & Sunday.Exhibitors are NOT permitted to setup during the Specialties on Saturday.Concessions will be open at 7:00 A.M. Saturday & Sunday.

Amateur-Owner-Handler Class (effective as of 1/1/2009)Chapter 3, Section 7 - The Amateur-Owner-Handler Class shall be for dogs that are at least six months of age that are not champions. Dogs must be handled in the class by the registered owner of the dog. This class is restricted to exhibitors who have not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC approved conformation judge, or employed as an assistant to a professional handler. Additionally, members of the immediate family or household of a current professional handler are ineligible for this class (as defined in Chapter 11, Section 13).

An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.00 will be required for each entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.)

No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance.Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from

competition by action of the Event Committee. If because of riots, wars, strikes, civil disturbances, national emergencies, health emergencies, and the dictates of law enforcement or of the owner(s) of the grounds and/or facilities or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the event, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, heavy rains, or other circumstances including, but not limited to, the condition of the facilities or grounds and/or the ingress and egress from the grounds, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the event before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Post Dated Checks, Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Superintendent will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check or declined card. Subsequent returned checks or declined cards from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis.

No Refund for Duplicate Entries. Every effort to find all duplicate entries will be made; however, if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. An Administrative Fee of $2.00 will be charged or withheld from refunds for duplicate entries.

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem suffi-cient. INSTRUCTIONS1. (Variety) if you are entering a dog of breed in which there are varieties for show purposes, please designate the par-ticular variety you are entering, i.e., Cocker Spaniel (solid color black, ASCOB, parti-color), Beagles (not exceeding 13in., over 13 in. but not exceeding 15 in.), Dachshunds (longhaired, smooth, wirehaired), Collies (rough, smooth), BullTerriers (colored, white), Manchester Terriers (standard, toy), Chihuahuas (smooth coat, long coat), English Toy Spaniels(King Charles and Ruby, Blenheim and Prince Charles), Poodles (toy, miniature, standard).

2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Championsof Record and dogs which, according to their owners’ records, have completed the requirements for a championship, butwhose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limitedto a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in this premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog isdivided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are enteringyour dog, i.e, age division, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for an event closed. If aregistered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for whichentries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certifi-cate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. State on entry form whether transfer application has been mailed tothe AKC. (For complete rules, refer to Chapter 11, Section 3.)

5. Mixed Breed dogs entering classes for Agility, Obedience, and Rally trials should mark Breed as “MIXED BREED.”Variety, Breeder, Sire, Dam, information shall remain blank for mixed breed entrants.
