Land (Perpetual Succession) Ordinance (Cap. 98)

In accordance wiA section 5a of die Land (P«pe- tual Succession) Ordinance, 1958, it is notified that the Registered Trustee of die Roman Catholic Mission of the Vicariate Apostolic of Onitsha, the Most Reverend Charles Heerey, the Archbishop of Onitsha, has applied to the Mmister of Lagos Affairs for approval to change the body’s naime to the Roman Catholic Mission of the Archdiocese of Onitsha.

2. If any person objects to the making of such a dhange, he may give notice of his objections and of the groimds upon which he relies in support thereof to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Lagos Affairs, within 7 days of the date of publication of this notice.

4. Land in respect of which no statement is received is liable to be dealt with as unoccupied

5. And notice is also hereby given that the Governor-General intends to enter into possession of the said land at the espiration of six weeks from the day follosving the pubfication of this notice.

6. Any person who shall wilfully hinder or obstruct the Governor-General or any person employed by him from taking possession of the said land is liable under the^fprovisions of the Ordinance above mentioned, on conviction to a fine of twenty-five pounds or to imprisonment for three months.
