The CampThe Mid Atlantic Officiating Camp focuses on

three person officiating and the key metrics

needed to take your career in a new direction.

• Video Tape break down

We offer a comprehensive video review session

and many campers attribute this video review as

an important key to a successful season. In

addition, you will receive a copy of your game—

for self-review. The Mid Atlantic Officiating Camp Staff will award the top camper a scholarship to attend Mid Atlantic Elevation Officiating Camp in 2018 at the University of Maryland.

LocationThe Mid Atlantic Offcials Camp will be held on

the campus of Towson University at the state of

the art SECU Arena in Towson, Maryland.

The GamesThe games you will be officiating are part of the annual Towson University Team Camp Shootout hosted by Coach Pat Skerry. The teams will feature regional AAU & high school teams from all over the Mid Atlantic region. Games will use high school rules. New and veteran officials will benefit from situations on and off the court. The camp will begin Friday evening with orientation, classroom, & video session. Saturday session will be from 8am to 6pm and the Sunday session will run from 8am to noon.

Camp DirectorsSean Hull is an NCAA official and currently works in the ACC, CAA, A10, America East, IVY, Patriot, MEAC, and CIAA.

Bernard Clinton is an NCAA official and currently works in the CAA, A10, Big South, MEAC, CIAA, Sun- belt, Southern, Ivy, Patriot conference.

Associate DirectorMike Malone is the current Commissioner of the Baltimore Metro Officials Association and the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association. He has been the Board #23 Commissioner for 9 years as well as an instructor and evaluator with the Mason Dixon basketball camp for 15 years.

RegistrationStaffThe 2017 Mid Atlantic Officials Camp staff will be comprised of the top NCAA officials in the country with special guests including Supervisors of Officials from Division I, II, III, & Junior College to help observe. The 2017 staff will include Ted Valentine, Tony Greene, Ray Perone, Tony Crisp, Jeff Clarke, Gary Prager, IVY & Patriot Supervisor of Officials Reggie Greenwood and PSAC & JUCO Region 19 Coordinator of Officials Tim Ebersole. Special guest TBA.

What You Should Bring

Each official should bring an adequate supply of equipment including: striped officials shirts, black shorts, black shoes, whistle, lanyard, rules book, and note pad.
