With nearly half a century of progress under the hood, the aptly-named 3.0 CSL Hommage R is BMW’s legacy embodied. BMW Group Design senior vice president Adrian van Hooydonk released a statement on the extraordinary vehicle and what it represents, saying “Motor racing is all about the ability of cars to mesmerize, about the unbridled joy of driving, and as such it represents the heartbeat of BMW.”
