Emissions have gone up every year since 2002. Annual targets will ensure that every part of government does its bit to cut CO 2 New science suggests we need 90% cuts in CO 2 by 2050 to avert 2 degree rise in temperature and worst impacts! We were asking MPs write to Tony Blair and David Milliband asking that our Climate Change Bill be included in the Queens Speech Slide 8 By October 2006 Almost 100,000 people support The Big Ask. Many more lobby their MP Two thirds all MPs in parliament support it (408) Government said there will be a Bill in the Queens Speech. Slide 9 Keeping up the pressure!
