Index 1
Student Achievement Student performance based on satisfactory student achievement
across all subjects for all students
Student Group: All Students onlyMinimum Size Criteria: NoneMethodology: Test results summed across tests, grades, and subjects.
Number of tests that meet Phase – in 1 Level II Total Number of tests
2014 Target: 55 for campuses and districts
Index 2Student Progress
Designed to measure student growth on the STAAR test from the prior year to this year. STAAR M, Alt, & ELL Progress Measure were included this year, but were not

1. For each student group, the % of students at the growth level on the assessment is multiplied by the weight for that growth level – each subject• One point for each % of student at the Met growth level• One additional point for each % of students at the Exceeded growth level
2. Combine all subjects and points for a final index score
Target: Set at or about the 5th percentile of campus performance and will be applied to both campuses and districts
