World War I ended with Germany losing its territory and being forced to pay for the damages done during the war.

Great depression hit all over the world’s economy, allowing

violent political figures to take over Italy, Germany and the Soviet Union. These leaders promised their countries a lift in their economical situation.

Germany was capable to get their territory back and conquer a lot more, but the Nazis were massively killing on the way. Allied powers intervened in order to stop it, even if it would take them 7 years to do it. WWII is definitely a lesson to everyone after witnessing the horrible genocide of the Jews; about what desperate measures can war lead us humans to do in desperate economic times.
