the awesome getting started of wakulu
DESCRIPTION
TRANSCRIPT
Dear Awesome Coach,
Wakulu is designed to be, as much as possible, flexible -- in a way that it will not constraint you to only one way of using it. Because we believe that you are more productive when you can be creative on how you do things. So the Getting Started tutorials here are not to be taken as the ultimate rule and guideline on how to use Wakulu. These are simply suggestions.
If you find a trick on how to use Wakulu, please share them with us. We love to learn from you also.
Cheers,
Wakulu Team

Getting Started
Following are ways on how you can start right away using Wakulu.
You can start managing your programs, by clicking the Add a New Program button which you will find in the Dashboard, and in Coachings.
Or, you can upload your resources, files and links, in Library to start managing your assets.
Program vs Session
In managing your coaching, you will meet these 2 terms -- Program and Session. Before we proceed on how to create your coaching program in Wakulu, let us define these 2 terms first.
A coaching program refers to a group of coaching sessions offered to interested members. A program can have one or several sessions which are intended to meet the program's specific goal. Program and Session are ways for you to organize your coaching offerings.
For example, you offer a 'Learn How To Knit' course. So you can have it the following:Learn How To Knit (Program Title) (Sessions Title) Knitting -- Beginners Level Knitting -- Advanced Level Knitting -- Super Advanced Level
Another example is like 'Quit Smoking:'Quit Smoking Quit Smoking One-on-One Session Quit Smoking Group Counselling Quit Smoking -- Morning Session Quit Smoking -- Afternoon Session Quit Smoking for Chronic Patients Quit Smoking for Teenagers
Manage Coaching Programs/Courses
First you Add a Coaching Program. You can do it from the Dashboard, and also in the Coachings page.
Once you have a program created, it is time you Create Session under it. The session is what you will offer and share to the interested individuals.
Collaboration & Sharing
Now that your coaching program has a session, what's next?
Click on the coaching session to go to its Streams page. In the Streams page is where you can:• Invite Members -- send an invitation to those individuals that are interested with your offering• Collaborate -- share resources for this coaching session by using the Add coaching material, or schedule availability of your resources
from the Coaching Session Materials.• Engage -- use the text box to converse with the individuals who are part of this session.
Members of this coaching session can simply go to the session stream to get updated -- dowload/view the materials of your coaching, communicate, share, and collaborate.
Manage Assets
You can upload your resources, files and links, to Wakulu even if you have not created any program yet. You can store your files that you will later use for your coaching.
If you have no coaching program created yet, you can add resources via Library.
If you already have existing programs, you can organize your resources by assigning them to their respective programs.
There are 2 ways to assign your resources to their respective programs:
• Via Library• Via the Materials section when you are in the Program page
Once you add your resources to their respective coaching programs, you can assign the resources' availability date in advance. You can automate when resources should be available to the members of your coaching session.
To schedule availability date, go to the coaching session's Stream page. Then, you can find the assets added to that program from Coaching Session Materials.
Once you assign an availability date to an asset, it will be transferred to the Available page. Then, it will automatically appear on Stream page on its set availability date.
