Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America.

Honolulu is the capital city of Hawaii, the birthplace of Barack Obama.

Barack Obama was born on the 4th of August in 1961.

His father was from Kenya, and his mother from Kansas. They were students at the University of Hawaii at the time of his birth.

He has got a younger sister

Just after two years, his parents separated

and later divorced.

When he was ten he returned to Hawaii to live with his maternal grandparents.

At school Obama played basketball very well.

Later he stayed at High School, one of only three black students in the whole Academy.

Then he went on to college in Los Angeles for two years and after that to Columbia University in New York, getting a degree in political science in 1983

Chicago, 1985, he became the student of Harvard law school, graduating with top marks in 1991.

Obama served for twelve years as a professor at the University of Chicago Law School.

He returned to Chicago as a civil rights lawyer and in 1996 he was elected to the Illinois state senate, in 2004, was elected to the US senate.
