The Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists is extremely excited to be preparing for the 53rd Annual Conference and we invite you to Ride the roller coaster of A-beauty innovations with us at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Center May 11th – 13th 2021.

Set in the heart of Broadbeach The Gold Coast Conference and Exhibition Centre will be the location of the ASCC 53rd Annual Conference from 11th-13th May 2021. Themed “Riding the rollercoaster of A-beauty Innovations, our theme has three main pillars: “A-Beauty”, a play on the term K-Beauty, A-Beauty, or Australian beauty, is the minimal skincare movement based around combination routines, simplified formulations and innovative Australian native ingredients and products made in Australia. “Riding the roller coaster” will take us through the emotions of using a cosmetic, with a focus on neuro-cosmetics and how product makes the consumer feel. Finally, "Innovations” we will showcase the best cutting-edge science the cosmetics and home care sector has to offer. The 53rd Annual ASCC Conference is looking to capture the interests of all our industry's greats, whilst enjoying the beautiful backdrop of the Gold Coast.

The organising committee has been working hard behind the scenes and we have already locked in two excellent guest speakers

Firstly Dr. Patrice Bellon from Cosmetoscent in France comes recommended by the IFSCC and will be riding the rollercoaster with us. Dr.Bellon will help us explore how a cosmetic product can cause an elevated change in emotion and how the contribution of Neurosciences can enhance the users experience of a product.

Then Ben Lazzaro from Made in Australia will show us how A-beauty innovations, developed, manufactured and marketed as “Made in Australia” can benefit the brand and the Australian industry.

We look forward to hearing from both Dr Bellon and Mr Lazzaro at our annual conference.

The extensive marketing campaign has already commenced on social media and via industry newsletters. We will then be advising of the exciting conference ‘components’ as well as snippets of the technical and marketing driven papers that can be expected from November 2020 onwards to build anticipation and awareness. A marketing video has been published and will be updated to include your logo as a premium sponsor.

OUR BIGGEST CONFERENCE VENUE YET!! In the heart of Broadbeach the Gold Coast Conference and Exhibition Centre will be the location of the ASCC 53rd annual conference and will be the largest venue the ASCC has hosted a conference at. With an anticipating attendance of around 300- 400 delegates, we will have plenty of space for our activities. .

To take full advantage of the planned intricate and extensive marketing strategy outlined earlier, it is highly recommended that interested organisations get involved early. The earlier you are involved; the more promotional opportunities will be available and the greater the potential success and effectiveness of your sponsorship campaign. If allowable an opportunity will be given to the Premium sponsors to visit the ASCC 2021 conference venue and be shown the amenities. EXPLANATIONS The Gala dinner will be used to offer unique exposure to Gold and Silver sponsors:

- Gold: Speech, raffle draw, photo with President.- Silver: Raffle draw – for on stand competition.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR VIP GUEST

- The Sponsor will be given the opportunity to invite their nominated guest(s) as their VIP’s. These guests must be working in the personal care industry in Australia or New Zealand as either a brand owner, formulator, contract manufacturer, marketing manager, procurement manager or consultant etc. The VIP guest cannot be a person from within the Sponsors own company/Organisation including parent companies, suppliers and distributors.

- The ASCC conference will fund the following for each VIP guest:o Full conference registration including all social functions.o Hotel accommodation throughout the conference period (3 nights)o All other expenses will be covered by the VIP themselves.

- The VIP guest will have this written on their Lanyard- VIP guest should be someone who has never attended or has not been able to attend

a conference for the last 2 years.- The sponsor should believe the VIP guest will benefit by attending the conference.- The VIP must be approved by the Chair of the Organising committee to be someone

eligible for this award.
