DESIGN TRENDS ANALYSIS Mobile phones are submitted to design

trends

They intended to design a mobile phone with a high simplicity and a moderate innovative design

6 designers gathered a large sample of pictures of existing mobile phones Organized them into a semantic map

CONCLUSION

Selected 4 mobile phones which were made into mock-ups• 1. mockup: positiv feedback on the asymmetry• 2. mockup: minimal buttons, can be used for

navigation

The mock-ups do not look like existing products

Limitation; no graphical designer on the team
