THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
1. Be Sincere in Dawah;– It is for the sake of Allah. Don’t spoil your
intention by bragging.
– Don’t praise yourself. Your rewards come from Allah.
2. Understand your Goals in Dawa; – Present Islam to minimize corruption in the land
hold reformation of the world as your ultimate goal.
3. Realize that the Mission is to worship Allah & the Vision is to reach JANNAH and see ALLAH.
4. Trust fully that Success comes from Allah.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
5. Always supplicate .
6. Know that Dawa is a battlefield with Satan, shirk and kufr.
7. Clothe yourself with the characteristics of the Mujahid;
8. Seek the right knowledge to gain insight and wisdom (the most difficult thing to gain).
9. Have reasonable expectations. Don’t expect perfection as everyone has his own shortcomings.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
10.Don’t despair of the mercy of Allah. Some people are always negative in their thinking.
– “This man is a hopeless case this fellow is a waste of time and efforts.” Avoid issuing judgment.
11.Foster a positive attitude. – Remember prophets and their impact
on the people.
12.Don’t belittle yourself. Do your best. Guidance is from Allah and the results are in the hands of Allah.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
13.Live with the people and bear them.
14.Balance in Dawa by combining both fear & hope.
15.Show tolerance and patience.
16.Choose the right ‘register’ ;words and utterances.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
17.Act to speak louder than words.
18.Choose time and place.
19.Don’t attack specific people or generalize. – The Muslim is not indecent, and he does not have
a foul mouth.
– What is wrong with people?
– Present Islam.
20.Grab opportunities and treasures for the day of judgment.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
21.Do not be frustrated from the corruption around us. “You will find few of my servants obedient.”
22.The daee should live the real life of people and be very near to them and bear their harms.
23.You need to retreat and be with yourself for a while.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
24.Be gradual in Dawa. – Don’t exaggerate the sin when you talk to
people and be priority conscious.
– There is no sin greater than disbelief.
25.Substantiate and quote the right
information.
26.Show genuine feeling, care and concern by
listening attentively.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
27.Be tactful, tender and gentle.
28.Respect people and their status. – Speak to individuals according to their own
mentality and status.
29.Be aware of what is happening around you.
30.Don’t project yourself by belittling others.– Some people always criticize others to raise their
status.
– Don’t point fingers.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
31.Participate with people in their happy and
sad moments.
32.Appear nice.
33.Concentrate on one issue at a time. – Don’t overburden people by talking about many
subjects at the same time.
34.Hold yourself accountable while
presenting.
35.Perform more acts of worship to be closer
to Allah.– The closer you are to Allah, the more your
supplications will be accepted and you will be
accepted.
THE BEST JOB
YOU ARE REPRESENTING ISLAM
MOST HONORABLE MESSAGE
DAEES ARE THE ELITE
A TRUST WE HAVE TO FULFILL
QUALITY IN YOUR DAWA
INCREASE YOUR KNOWLEDGE
GENERAL TIPS
Know that; Calling to Islam is the best job
You are representing Islam
You are carrying the message of all the prophets which is The most honorable message.
The scholars are the inheritors of the prophets.
The daees are the elite.
This is a trust we have to fulfill.
We have to adopt quality in your Dawa.
The daees have to study and increase their knowledge about the way of Dawa.
THE TASTE OF ISLAM WHEN SOMEONE EMBRACES ISLAM
BREATHE DAWA IN AND OUT
DAWA IS A RESPONSIBILITY
THANK ALLAH BY MAKING MORE DAWA
GUIDANCE IS NEEDED BY ALL
A PROMISE TO HELP OURSELVES BY MAKING DAWA
DAWA’S SIGNIFICANCE
BE AN EXAMPLE AS YOU ARE ALWAYS BEING WATCHED
NEW WAYS OF DAWAH
GENERAL TIPS
The taste of Islam can really be felt when someone embraces Islam and when you are involved in Dawa. When you are away from Dawa this taste dwindles.
Dawa should be a headache for you all the time. It is a heavy responsibility that we should enjoy doing. Breathe Dawa in and out.
Come here with the intention to make Dawa when you leave. Dawa is not a luxury; it is a responsibility.
Come up with a promise from everyone to help ourselves before helping even others by making Dawa.
GENERAL TIPS
Search and adopt the new ways in the market of dawah.
A daee should always better himself on a daily basis and do his best to be an example as he is always being watched.
Making dawa in itself is dawa. Remind each other of its significance.
Without Dawa we would have never become Muslims.
Guidance is needed by all.
Thank Allah on a daily basis through making even more Dawa.
STUDY THE SITUATION
INTERNET FOR DAWA
KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING WITH
ISLAM WILL ENTER INTO EVERY HOUSE IN EVERY CORNER
APPLY DAWA IN YOUR LIFE
HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE ON A DAILY BASIS
BE OPTIMISTIC
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
Carefully study the situation.
Use the internet for Dawa. – Respond to these people through
presenting Islam more.
– Be clear and straightforward, “I’m here to talk about Islam”.
Ask to establish a good entry. – Know who you are talking with.
THE ART OF CONVEYING THE MESSAGE
Apply Dawa in your life. It is not enough just to come and listen. These sessions are fueling stations for a daee.
Why am I here? What are the results of these sessions?
Hold yourself accountable on a daily basis. “What is it that I have learnt from here?”
Be optimistic; Islam will enter into every house in every nook and corner.
