One ultrasound wave ensures impeccable image quality

Using SonicSoftware™ the Aixplorer rapidly and flexibly delivers clinical images of a quality never seen before. Technological advances such as SuperCompound™, SuperRes™ and TissueTuner™ ensure superb image resolution and delineation.

With MultiWave technology, Aixplorer relies on the simultaneous use of both ultrasound waves and shear

waves to better characterize and quantify tissue stiffness. Shear wave velocity is directly related to the quantifiable

measurement of tissue elasticity. Aixplorer can generate, capture and quantify the velocity of a shear wave by acquiring data

up to 200 times faster than conventional ultrasound technology. Aixplorer produces in real-time, a quantitative color coded map displaying local tissue elasticity for a large image region. An easy-to-read color scale indicates tissue elasticity.
