was fully human and fully divine. This is referred to as the “incarnation.” (Matthew 1:18-24)

• He was baptized by John the Baptist. (Luke 3:21-22)

• He ministered publicly for 3 years. His ministry included preaching, healing, miracles and teaching, as recorded in the four Gospels.

Jesus’ Earthly Ministry• He was crucified for our sins, died, and was buried in a tomb.

Through His death we can receive forgiveness of our sins. (Mark 15:21-40)

• He was raised from the dead by God and appeared to the disciples and others. (Mark 16:19; Luke 24:51; John 20:17)

What is the importance of each part of Jesus' life and ministry?
