The Knockananna Tidy Towns will host a walk on Saturday 20th of May down the Back Bawns lane at 5am so we can enjoy the Morning Chorus. This is part of our projects for this year to experience the wild life around us and to become more aware. Nature puts on a show for free every morning in the Spring and this is an opportunity to be a witness. What a great way to kick start the weekend.

Kiltegan are U16 League Champions 2017.. defeating Aughrim in the final League game on a scoreline of 6-5 to 2-0 and topping the table undefeated. This is a huge achievement for this team and their coaches( Eva Bermingham, Benny Doyle, Michelle Bermingham) as its the first year

in many that Kiltegan have fielded an U16 team.

A panel of 21 with 10 of these girls still U14...but as they showed age is only a number. Well done girls to everyone involved.

Our U14s were away to Carnew on Tuesday in challenging weather conditions....a tough first half with Carnew putting it up to us. Half time score was 0-1 to 0-1... but in the second half our girls got going and the passion and determination paid off with a convincing win for Kiltegan 4-6 to 0-1. RATHVILLY KILTEGAN PARISH DRAW
