The Adventures of Zooku the Alien

Zooku lives on Saturn and one day he found himself bored, bored and bored! So, he jumped into his spacecraft, Moon Comet, flicked the starter switch which then showed on his monitor a countdown, 5,4,3,2,1 and – woosh, he was jetting down to Earth.

As Zooku entered Earth’s atmosphere he became very distracted by a colourful paraglider and the paraglider was very surprised to see an Alien! The Alien, who wasn’t great at landing his spacecraft, then crash landed into the roof of Robins

School. The paraglider made it safely to the ground – phew!

Mrs Andrews, the headteacher, rushed out tosee what hadhappened, closely followed bythe children.

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, something that looks like a spacecraft has landed on our roof” Mrs Andrews said.

“Hurray-yippee we can go home” the children shouted excitedly. Except for Samira who was in the toilet when it all happened and had no idea what was

going on. When she had finished, and of course, washed her hands, she ran out into the playground and looked up at the roof, “so that’s what all the commotion is about! I’m not going home I want to meet the Alien!”

“Great idea Samira” said Mrs Clark. “Can anyone speak Alien? ” said Florence.

“I can, I learnt it at my old school from an astronaut visitor” said Samira.

There was a lot of chit-chat from the children. Mrs Clap, who was a magic teacher (which means she taught magic), clicked her fingers and was surprised to hear silence, except for a couple of the boys! She then realised that it wasn’t her magic fingers that had shut the pupils up, but a certain little Alien that had appeared

in the playground.

Samira spoke Alien to the Alien and said “blaah darvar?” which is Alien for “what’s your name?”

The Alien replied “darvar Zooku”. aS mira then asked “blur der judda?” which means “where are you from and what are you doing here?”. Zooku replied “zu boo bar Saturn, be gajew daboo”, which translated, means “I’m from Saturn and I wanted an interesting adventure”.

Four boys got bored and sneaked off to have a go in the spacecraft. Mrs Clap suddenly noticed the boys had gone! She looked up at the roof and was shocked to see the boys getting into the spacecraft. She called out to the other teachers. The teachers and children all gasped and held

their breath as the spacecraft took off.

Zooku said “ga do ju agy agu!” Which Samira translated too “I have a special remote control!” and just as Moon Comet came swooping down, Zooku pressed a big purple button and a big beam of purple light came out of the remote control and bought the ship down safely to the ground.

The spacecraft, Moon Comet, zoomed up and up and twirled around. The boys looked scared. It then headed straight for the playground at speed. Once again the teachers gasped and children started to scream.

Everyone was relieved, but the boys were still going to get into trouble for doing what they did. The head teacher, Mrs Andrews went over to the boys and said “detention for you boys” and with that, the boys walked off with Mrs Andrews, into her office.

The rest of the Robins School cheered and Samira thanked the Alien on behalf of the school. Zooku replied “zed do zagzoo.emoo?” which means “oh is that the time on the school clock?” “Yes” replied Samira. Zooku said that it was time for him to return to Saturn and have his favourite tea, “good ze oozar gappy frappie gos zoo” which is moon rocks and crater chips with a dollop of asteroid sauce. With that, he hovered over to Moon Comet and picked up a sparkly bag with a picture of an Alien on it. He handed it to Samira and said

“zoo gu zig oo?” which means “please hand out these special treats. It was nice to meet you and may I come back soon?” Then he flicked the starter switch and, quick as flash, he zoomed off heading out to space.

THE END (or is it? He may come back!)
