Parking Options In Gettysburg

The Racehorse Alley Parking Garage

Located behind the Gettysburg Hotel and is accessible from

Carlisle or North Stratton Streets. The Garage is open and enforced

24 hours/ 7 days per week including all holidays with 356 spaces

Handicapped spaces are located conveniently near the exits and Kiosks.

Kiosks are located on levels 1 & 2.

Gettysburg Tour Center Parking Lot

The Gettysburg Tour Center is located on Baltimore Street,

right off of Steinwehr Avenue. Parking is free to all visitors

with some spots reserved for the 1863 Inn and

Jennie Wade house attraction.

Metered Street Parking

There are 319 2-hour on-street meters in Gettysburg.

Located in the business district, these meters provide

a maximum parking limit of 2-hours with an extra 15 minute "grace period".

Rates: $1 per hour for a maximum of two hour parking.

(Note: Meters will only register with quarters and dimes.)

Quarters - 15 minutes

Dimes - 7 1/2 minutes
