Sample Schedule

*teachers will manage the instructional content with a combination of whole group and independent practice

Teacher Morning Homeroom Meeting with Students: 9:20-9:25/9:30

ELA (English Language Arts): 2 hours, grades 1-4 (instruction and student work)ELA: 1 hour, Kindergarten (instruction and student work)

Special Areas: 1 hour daily 4X week, 30 min 1X week PE, Health, Music, Library = 30 minutes; Art = 60 minutes

*Lunch at home when students are not in school: 45 minutes-each grade level will be assigned within the time period of 11:40-1:25

Math: 1 hour, grades 1-4 (instruction and student work)Math: 30 minutes, Kindergarten

Science/Social Studies Grade 1-4: 40 minutes (instruction and student work)

*Flex Time for Intervention: K=30/45 minutes, 1st grade-4th grade=30 minutes (Reading Specialist /Instructional Support Teacher)*(student support as necessary, delivered by Classroom Teacher, Reading Specialist, Instructional Support Teacher, Special Education Teacher)

Hybrid Learning ● Students will be assigned to one of two groups. ● Children in the same family/household will be scheduled together. ● Group 1 will report on *Monday and Wednesday, and engage in classroom learning activities

remotely for the remainder of the week. ● Group 2 will report on *Tuesday and Thursday, and engage in classroom learning activities

remotely for the remainder of the week.● Friday will be an instructional day & teacher work day for follow-up contact w/ students

○ Students complete assigned work asynchronously, and access teachers through virtual conferences and emails

○ Teachers: virtual office hours, IEPs, IST, parent meetings● Remote instruction within the Learning Management System and/or Google Classroom.● During remote learning days, students will be able to access the lessons live, following their

normal schedule throughout the day or via recorded lessons at another time,● Students will be assigned a Chromebook for use at school and home. ● Internet access will be necessary to participate during the remote portion of the week.

Hybrid Learning ● Transportation is available to and from school for students in the Hybrid Learning

Model.● Students must wear face coverings (mask/shield) while on the bus, common areas, class

transitions, and in the classroom when social distancing of six (6) feet cannot be achieved.

● Safety protocols will be closely followed with modified seating in the classroom and cafeteria, when possible, to allow for social distancing of six (6) feet, at which time wearing face coverings will not be required.

● Staff will also wear face coverings at all times when six (6) feet of social distance cannot be achieved.

● Any documented medical exceptions from mask wearing must be reported to the building nurse who will notify the principal and student services department.

Kindergarten in A/B Model ● All students will be assigned AM/PM session.● Kindergarteners will attend daily in A/B model due to half day schedule, as well as

to ease transition into public education● Remote Learning Model option will have their children participate in the learning

activities remotely, either synchronously or using recorded instruction and activities.

● Transportation is available to and from school for Hybrid Learning Model.● When in school, all conditions of the Hybrid Learning Model apply (see above)● For the Remote Learning Model, students will be able to access the program

Kindergarten students will be provided a device to use when necessary.● Students will have access to the food service program

Remote Learning ● Children are assigned to a BPSD homeroom/class with a BPSD member

● Students maintain the learning relationship with a BPSD teacher

● Students have access BPSD curriculum and instruction

● Students assigned a Chromebook for use at school and home

● Faculty will continue to deliver their lessons via the Learning Management System and/or Google Classroom utilizing live and recorded instruction as well as planned activities

● Children can access those lessons live during the day, following a normal school schedule or via recorded materials at a time more appropriate

● Materials will be available just as if children were in school

● Internet access will be necessary to participate in the remote learning option.
