operative Thrift & Credit Society (Delhi) Limited will be held on Friday the 11th October, 2019 at 5.45 p.m.

in the "CAFETERIA", Indian Express Building, 9-10, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New

Delhi -110002 to transact the following business. In case the quorum in the Annual General Body meeting is not

complete up to 6.15 p.m. then the meeting shall stand adjourned for fifteen minutes on the same day and will be

held at 6.30 p.m. at the same place with the same Agenda. In the adjourned Annual General Body meeting no

CHAIRMAN'S SPEECH Dear Members,I am glad to welcome you at this 59th Annual General Body Meeting of the Society with the Balance Sheet and

stProfit & Loss Account for the year ended on 31 March, 2019. Our Society has achieved a commendable growth in these years and strengthened its fiscal condition. A glance at the Balance Sheet shows that the society earned a profit of Rs.2.07/- Lakhs made provision of Rs.44.25/- Lakhs for special incentive to members.MEMBERSHIPThis is to inform that 63 new members joined & 122 members have left the Society in the financial year 2018-2019.

stAs on 31 March 2019 there are 1346 members of the society.SHARE CAPITAL The amount of Share Capital is as under:-

stTotal amount as on 31 March 2019 Rs. 2, 09, 91,710.00FIXED DEPOSITThe amount of Fixed Deposit is as under:-

The interest rate on Fixed Deposit is being paid @ 6 % for one year, @ 5 % for six months & @ 4 % for the period of three months .COMPULSORY DEPOSITThe amount of Compulsory Deposit is as under:-

SALIENT FEATURES

This Society has been created by and for the employees of BCCL in Delhi/NCR on NO PROFIT NO LOSS Basis. It is an independent body governed by the provisions of Co-operative Societies Act and managed by 2 nominated and 9 elected Office Bearers. It has been into opcration since 1953, providing quick and easy financial loans its members at very reasonable interest rates, which are recovered from salary in easy EMIs.

An employee of BCCL at Delhi/NCR can become the member this Society at any point of time and continue as its member as long as he/she remains in the employment of BCCL at Delhi/NCR. Every member is allotted 10 shares of Rs. 10 each and gets the dividend (mostly 18%) and Diwali inventives as declared every year. The member also enjoys the liberty to resign from the membership even during the service and withdraw the accumulations, if any. The accounts as well as the other operations of the Society are subject to a strict audit & monitoring. The Society has also been awarded Excellence shield by Delhi Government for the best performance and outstanding contribution in the co-operative field during 5 years in the recent past.

The category / audit classification of Society is "A" and the recovery of loans is 100% with ZERO borrowing from outside. The society has fully computerized accounting system and allows NET Banking Facility throught HDFC Bank. An SMS/Email is sent to the members for every transaction & they can view their account on Timescape.
