We will learn ways to protect our Earth.

ReduceTo reduce the size, number, or use of something is very important.Each person in the US produces five pounds of trash per day.When we reduce, we use less of something.

Reuse

To reuse means to put into action or service again. Instead of throwing some trash away, people can find new ways to reuse it.

Recycle

Recycling is to convert waste into material. Recycling puts objects through a process that allows them to be used again.

Ways to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Use the front and back of your paper

Take short showers

Share paper with a friend

Pass on clothes you outgrow to siblings and friends.

Clean out a bottle, jug, or can to reuse.

Repair rather than replace something.

Reuse plastic bags.

Recycle plastic empty bottles.

Recycle glass.

Recycle unwanted papers.

Use the recycling ben

What Can We Recycle?

Cans (soda, tuna, vegetables, chemical cans) Bottles(water, juice, chemical, soda, shampoo) Paper(any paper)

Remember

Where ever there is a recycling bin, we can recycle. Look for blue recycling bins in the laundry rooms, floor lounges, elevator lobbies and first floor building lobbies. Paper and newspaper containers are in building lobbies and floor lounges. Exterior recycling containers are located adjacent to dumpsters.
