CENTRAL ASIAN PARA GAMES.

The 1th CENTRAL ASIAN PARA GAMES will be embracing the sports of

Athletics, Armwrestling, Judo, Swimming, Powerlifting.

5- Transportation

Transportation from airport to the accommodation and back is offered to the

participants free of charge by LOC.

Transportation from railway station to the accommodation and back is

offered to the participants free of charge by LOC.

The transportation to and from the competition venue is also provided by the

LOC.

7- Sports Rules and Regulations In accordance with the Rules of the IPC and IBSA Rules and Regulations.

8- Visa Requirements:

The following countries do not require visas to enter Uzbekistan:

Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.

The other participating countries should contact the Uzbekistan Consulate or

Embassy in their country to obtain visa. We are ready to establish contact with the

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan in order to facilitate the visa process

for these countries. In order arrange invitation letters we ask you to provide LOC

with completed VISA Form (http://evisa.mfa.uz/evisa_en/) and copy of passport

and one personal picture. The forms must be sent to [email protected] no later

than 01/07/2015.

9- Insurance:

Competitors have to provide insurance for their own accident and liability.

The organizer excludes any liability and assumes no responsibility for loss or theft

of materials or personal belongings during the games.

10- Medical Attendance: All the competition venues will have all the necessary support for urgent

medical assistance for all the participants during the competitions and official

training.

13 General information by sport

ATHLETICS

Competitions will be conducted based on the IPC athletics rules.

Venue: “Pakhtakor” stadium

Technical meeting: Will be held the day before competition start.

Competition dates: 13-14/09/2015

Participation criteria:

A maximum of 03 (THREE) athletes from each country can be registered per

event.

Participation of a minimum of 04 (FOUR) athletes from 03 (THREE) countries

is required to confirm the event. If this criteria is not met some events can be

cancelled or combined.

Besides Pentathlon and Relays, each athlete can participate in a maximum of 03

(THREE) events.

Each country can have 01 (ONE) relay team per event.

Each country is required to bring its own escort athlete for competitions.

General Rules:

Tashkent - The Capital of Uzbekistan

The main city of Uzbekistan is a huge metropolis with a population of over 3

million people. The city is lined with a grid of straight and wide streets and

avenues, decorated with emerald green parks, gardens, fountains imbued with

crystal strands...

Tashkent cafes and restaurants present delicious national Uzbek as well

as European, Middle Eastern and Russian cuisines.

Old part of the city is the center of traditional local cuisine in Tashkent.

Between Kukeldash Madrassah and Chorsu bazaar you may find a great number of

chaykhanas (café terrace with ayvans), cafes and eating houses, where you can

snack a kebab, shaurma, Uzbek somsa and etc. Also you can try national dishes in

family-run Uzbek houses. Close to the Yunus-Obod tennis court there is the huge

Pilaf center (Osh Markazi), where you may taste delicious wedding Tashkent pilaf.

Tashkent restaurants amaze with European service level and food quality.

You will be surprised with wide range of restaurants with Chinese, Italian, English,

Japanese, Spanish and other cuisine. Whatever restaurant you choose for any

lunch, dinner or meeting, you will enjoy not only tasty dishes but also the stylish

interior, food presentation and perfect service.

Tashkent Metro - a modern sight

Today Tashkent is the modern capital of Uzbekistan, which practically has

not preserved ancient landmarks as opposed to Samarkand, Khiva and Bukhara.

But it has its own sights. One of them is the Tashkent Metro, which is the only

currently operating metro in Central Asia.

Each station has its own unique architectural features: marble, granite, glass,

smalt, art ceramics, carved alabaster, ganch and other decorations. Lighting is also

interesting and amazing: in some stations it creates the atmosphere of holiday

ballroom, in others it makes you feel in mysterious catacombs. Each station is the

separate place of interest.

Tashkent museums, craft centers and galleries: tour around cultural

places in the capital of Uzbekistan

Tashkent is not only an official capital but also the cultural center of

Uzbekistan. The largest number of cultural and educational institutions, including

theaters, libraries, and, of course, museums is located in Tashkent.

Cultural heritage of the city and the country as a whole are on display at over

dozen public Tashkent museums and their branches, as well as galleries, craft

centers and small memorial museums. The most famous Tashkent museums in

Uzbekistan are the Museum of History, State Museum of Art, the Museum of

Applied Arts and many others that have existed for over several decades. The

exposition at museums, art centers and art galleries that have appeared recently in

Tashkent - at the turn of 20th -21st centuries, such as Amir Timur Museum, Center

of National Arts, the Palace of Youth Creativity, Center of applied arts in Abul-

Kasim madrasah and others, are far not less interesting.
