Thank you for your interest in Richland County School District One’s Summer Camp, Enrichment and Academic Programs! We are excited to welcome you to our exciting menu offerings and offer you an opportunity to fill your summer with adventure, discovery, academic enrichment, fitness, STEAM, college preparation, credit recovery and everything between. This year, our Summer Camp and Enrichment Programs will operate over a seven week span and many of the programs will surround specific, session themes. To ensure the programs meet your scheduling needs and your child’s diverse interests, you are welcome to combine as many programs as you would like and take advantage of our early bird and extended childcare options. During our Summer SOAR Sessions 2017, we desire to align with the South Carolina Profile of the Graduate and offer options for everyone among our vast continuum; from Pre-K to Adult learners. This user-friendly guide will help you plan your summer and provide you with a framework of program offerings, criteria, and features. You are encouraged to register early. District-wide registration will begin Monday, April 3rd through Monday, May 15th, 2017. Please visit our website for detailed descriptions of each camp, enrichment or academic program and to register: www.richlandonesummersoar2017. We hope you will explore, discover and SOAR with us.
With warm regards,
Dr. Craig WitherspoonSuperintendent
