ZOOM 2017A year at TECHTERA
Techtera
A word from the presidentACTION AND ENTHUSIASM
Last year, action and enthusiasm allowed us to continue Techtera’s path; thanks of course to our brilliant team but also to you - members and partners. We had a year rich in events! But to avoid an inventory, I will focus on two key points:
— FASHION AND DECORATION In agreement with Espace Textile and UNITEX, we have integrated Fashion and Decoration activities within Techtera; to better take into account this aspect of the textile business and improve the mixing of technologies with “technical textiles”.
— A COMMUNAL ROADMAP In the previous edition, we announced our commitment to quickly establish our strategic roadmap for the years 2018 to 2024. It is this founding element that allows to cadence our activities and projects in a coherent way. This roadmap is part of the dual logic of consolidation and development of our mission; to increase the competitiveness of firms through co-operative innovation.
... AND TOMORROW?
FORWARD INTO THE FUTURE...
We are determined to forcefully go forward into the future with three great strategies:
— DIVERSIFY OUR INNOVATION by continuing to develop new products around new technologies; also, supporting innovation in all its forms
— DIVERSIFY AND BROADEN OUR ECOSYSTEM as regards textiles, flexible materials and composites, continuing to reinforce the regional dynamic, and exploit our skills at various geographical scales
— WORK TOGETHER by supporting companies according to their needs and development, which is, and will remain, our great mission
My very best wishes for the future to you all.
Louis Vovelle President
