Ladies and Gentlemen, can I please have your atten-tion. I’ve just been handed an urgent news story.

Thanks to the success we have seen so far, we have been authorized to EXTEND the Cash For Cases promotion by 2 weeks. This temporary bonus will now run through September 13, 2013. Spread the word to your teams so they don’t miss out on a chance to earn $200 for each new account that reaches $2,500 before time runs out. This is in addition to your normal compensation for these accounts.

And don’t forget--you can also earn the $200 Cash for Cases bonus by writing $2,500 in an account that has not had sales in at least 5 years (with prior approval).

Please visit Propr for more information on the Cash for Cases Bonus Program. This page will still refer to the old “August 30” date but it has all of the details on the bonus.

More than three-quarters (77%) of

workers think that missing work for a

least three months because of injury

or illness would create a financial

hardship, and half think it would

cause a “great hardship.”

Half of all households are “financially

fragile,” having a great difficulty rais-

ing $2,000 within a month, if needed.

Good Morning, West Region Team!

My colleague in the Northeast, Michael Patrick, sent the script below to the Northeast team. A team in the Ohio Territory are using this and their efforts have generated a lot of meetings and opportunities. I thought it was great, and wanted to share it with you, if you would like to do some email marketing to new brokers.

This could also be a script that can be used when calling brokers. Adapt it as you see fit.

As we have talked about before, visibility with brokers is one of the keys to working with them. When you do your call clinics or drops, it does not take a lot of time to start building your broker business. During call clin-ics, call brokers for 15 – 30 minutes to make appointments. When you are doing drops, look for “Insurance” signs and walk in. I’m not trying to take you away from direct, rather letting you know that you can build your broker business gradually be simply dedicating a small amount of time per week. The script below may help you:
