Dear Parents and Community members,
Class Structure
I connue to be surprised at the number of
parents who contact me regarding
placement of students in split classes. Split
classes are structured on the basis of
student enrolment i.e. where there are not
quite enough students to make up a straight
class.
Please be aware however, that teachers at
this school target the individual needs of
each student and our main focus is to
provide a challenging environment for
every student. Teachers do not necessarily
deliver a set Curriculum to each year level of
a spilt class. There may be several
working groups. Importantly however, a
straight class may have the same or even
more working groups than a spilt class.
Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC)
The following students have been selected
for inclusion into the PEAC Program for 2017.
Congratulaons to: Benjamin Hallam,
Jordan Hassan, Anna Wang, Tom Wang and
Daniel Widing. All the best for next year.

GENEROSITY
Generosity is all about
sharing. It is freely
giving someone else
something that has a
special meaning to you
without expecng a
reward or giJ in return.
Generosity can be giving
somebody lots of help
just because you can see
they need help. It is an
opportunity to give and
share parts of yourself
with others just for the
simple joy of giving. It is
a great way to show you
care.
Thanks to the wonderful girls and
their generous families who ran the
cake stall last Thursday, we
raised $138.30 for educaon projects
amongst poor communies around
the world. This has now taken our
total for the year to an amazing
$1458.70!
