BOO BOOK

Over the past few weeks, senior students from our

school have been going to The Boo Book shop on a

Thursday to read to children as part of their story time

initiative. The students use emphasis and voices to

engage the little ones in the story that they are reading.

It is great to see our senior students taking on such

roles of responsibility in our community and doing a

tremendous job.

Please have a wonderful and safe holiday and I look

forward to welcoming Mr Sansom back in this seat next

term. Thank you to Mrs Domazar for all her work as

relieving Assistant Principal and for coordinating the

senior excursions. This truly has been a very busy time

for her. Thank you to Mrs Brooks for looking after my

precious little ones, I have missed them terribly and I

look forward to getting back to them next term.

SCHOOL SWIMMING AND WATER SAFETY PROGRAM

Next term Huskisson Public School will be participating in the School Swimming and Water Safety Program.

The program will run over two weeks (Weeks 4 and 5). Children in Years 2 and 3 will be eligible as well as

children in older grades that would benefit from swimming lessons.

The program is an intensive swim program where the children will have 10 lessons.

As the instruction is free, the only costs are pool entry and transport expenses. This usually keeps the cost

below that of the weekly lessons offered by the Leisure Centre.
