Hahndorf Primary School and Preschool

Term 1 Week 11 14th April 2016

From the OSHC Hive….

Bookings for Vac Care are still being accepted for most days, although we have a waiting list on one

day so please book in asap to avoid disappointment.

A reminder to confirm your Term 2 BSC & ASC bookings as they Do Not carry over automatically.

It is noticed that some children are arriving at school unsupervised before 8.15am which is before there is a teacher

on duty. Students on the school grounds before 8.15am will be booked into OSHC and charged accordingly.

Please come and check our lost property for your child’s missing items.

GREAT OSHC NEWS!

We are very happy to announce the start of some very exciting and planned upgrades to our OSHC Building which will commence in week 2 of Term 2, 2016.

Our plans are to enclose the office area, install new kitchen facilities and a storage shed, open the wall between the two rooms for easier supervision and build a wooden deck at the back of the OSHC room to utilise the space in all weather conditions. During the upgrades, we would appreciate your patience and understanding as we will be operating from Room 8 (Music Room) and the Gym.

We anticipate that it will take between 4-6 weeks overall and hope to have as little interruption to the service as possible. More information will be released early next term.

WENDY’S CORNER….

Hi Everyone

Last weeks winners are:

Anna Lennon and Cameron Lennon

Target number: 915

Smaller numbers: 100, 6, 3, 4, 4, 1

To make 915, Anna and Cameron had the same solution:

6+3=9 9x100=900 (4x4)-1=15 900+15=915

Thank you to the students who have given this a go. There will more problems to solve next term.

Happy holidays.

We are very proud of the chil-dren for the effort that they put into their artwork.
