Description:

Content: ◦ comparative QA processes; ◦ roles and responsibilities; ◦ structures and management; ◦ review and accreditation methods; ◦ reviewers roles and training; ◦ site visit methodologies and reporting.

Day 1: Quality and Quality Assurance Comparative overview of various systems, standards and models

Day 2: QA processes/procedures & review methods (internal &external)

Bologna process + ESG

Day 3: Internationalisation strategies for HEI Cross-boarder Education + Regulatory approaches

Intended outcomes – support from QAA and IIEP ◦ a plan and template for the development of QA units at

HEIs (to include mobilisation and transition plans as well as three year strategic and development plans)

◦ a timescale for each HEI

Follow-up by HEIs ◦ will revise/establish QA units;

◦ will develop concept papers, regulatory framework, policies and procedures for QA.

◦ will procure equipment for internal and external QA units

Content: comparative QA processes and comparative standards,

the emerging challenges for QA of TNE in the partner countries

the role of networks of external QA agencies.
