Robin Raina Robin is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ebix, Inc. Robin joined Ebix in October 1997 as Vice President - Professional Services and was promoted to Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing in February 1998. Robin was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in December 1998. He was then made President effective on August 2, 1999 and Chief Executive Officer effective September 23, 1999. In May 31, 2002, Robin was named Chairman of the Board. Robin has been in the IT sector since 1990. He started his professional career in the field after completing a five year Bachelor's Engineering program in Industrial Engineering from Thapar University in India. In 2003, Robin founded a charity, the 'Robin Raina Foundation', which supports children in education, food, shelter and medical needs in the Indian sub-continent.

Neil Sprackling Neil Sprackling is President of Swiss Re's Life & Health US business and member of the firm's Americas Management Team. Neil joined Swiss Re's US business in February 2012, having spent the previous 15 years in Swiss Re's Australian and New Zealand business in a variety of roles, most recently as Head of the Life & Health business in these markets. With 29 years' reinsurance experience spanning the UK, Spain, Portugal and Latin America, Neil's background includes client management, underwriting, business development and marketing. Neil has led various business and industry programs on behalf of Swiss Re, most notably the Protection Gap initiative addressing the issue of underinsurance, for which he has a strong passion. Neil is currently a member of the ACLI Financial Services Steering Committee and an active presenter at numerous industry events and conferences.

Guest Speakers JASON BOWMAN is the Head of Swiss Re's Automated Underwriting team, based in Armonk NY. Jason has been

working in the Life insurance business for 29 years both for carrier and reinsurance companies. The majority of this time has been spent in the underwriting area and for the last 18 years has focused on the implementation of Swiss Re's underwriting system, Magnum. Jason has led projects with carriers in UK, Europe, Asia and North America and is currently overseeing a number of new deployments in the region.

THOMAS CORWIN is an Assistant Vice President for US Direct Distribution Underwriting & Case Processing at MetLife. Over the past 5 years, he has helped build a new distribution channel within MetLife that focuses on reaching customers through phone, web, direct mail and retail channels. His team underwrites a variety of life insurance products using innovative and efficient processes that rely on gold standard cloud based technology platforms and customer centricity practices. A focus on data-driven decision making has enabled his team to support top line business growth and significant underwriting operating expense reduction.

ALAN BETT is an IT officer with Manulife in Canada responsible for the Strategic Solutions, and overall Strategy function within the Retail Markets business unit IS organization. Alan is the IS CRM and has specific IS responsibilities for Digital Strategy, Product Development, New Business, Sales, Marketing, Salesforce.com, Illustrations, On-Line Transactions, and all large strategic projects in the Retail Markets area. Alan was the lead at Manulife in the search and ultimate selection of the Ebix TPP platform for NB and UW over 7 years ago. Alan has been the key Ebix relationship holder and IS owner of the entire Manulife NB technology platform.

DANA DEVINE began her career with United Farm Family Life Insurance Company in 1984 in the Life New Business Department. After 1 year transferred to the Underwriting Department where she eventually was promoted to Underwriting Manager. In 2000, she was the first underwriter hired by IBU, Interviews by Underwriters. She returned to United Farm Family Life Insurance Company in 2003 and has served as Chief Underwriter, Director Life Underwriting and Claims. Dana has been avidly involved and has served as the Business Project Manager for the New Business and Underwriting automation with her company.

AL KLEIN is a consulting actuary with Milliman’s Bannockburn/Chicago office. He joined the firm in 2009. Al’s primary responsibilities include industry experience studies and helping clients with mortality and underwriting related issues, including product development and assumption setting. Prior to joining Milliman, Al most recently worked for a large stock life insurance company where he was responsible for experience studies across all lines of business.

WILLIAM TYSON has a 30-year track record of building and managing multi-channel, multi-line insurance businesses using a variety of distribution models, technology platforms and data driven marketing, both domestically and internationally. He is a seasoned global insurance executive having excelled at several Fortune 500 companies (including AIG, CIGNA International and Jardine Lloyd Thompson) before joining Swiss Re Life and Health, where he is leading the execution of the Primary Value Chain strategic initiative in partnership with Ebix and other best of breed partners.

TODD EYLER is the research director for Aite Group’s Insurance practice—including P&C, Life and Annuities, and Health Insurance segments—and the research lead for the Life and Annuities segment. Mr. Eyler brings to Aite Group 15 years of combined research and operational experience, working with insurance companies across the P&C and life and annuities segments as well as with their vendors and service providers across all insurance segments.

BETH WHITE is the Assoc. Director of Producer Technology at AIG Life and Retirement. She is currently Program Manager of ticket platform submissions at AIG American General Life. DOUGLAS MASSEY is a 20 year veteran of the Insurance technology space. As VP of Sales for EbixExchange Doug and his team oversee the sale of all enterprise Life and Annuity solutions and work with product management to shape future product direction. Doug was actively involved in defining the industry’s Annuity Straight Through Processing (STP) model and has been involved in many industry technology firsts. His focus is on creating and communicating the power of connected technology solutions for STP of Life and Annuities. ASH SAWHNEY joined EBIX in the summer of 2012 through the acquisition of PlanetSoft, and is responsible for all sales and delivery activities related to the enterprise product solutions acquired by EBIX. As a member of PlanetSoft’s founding team, Ash was responsible for business development and sales. Ash was responsible for establishing key strategic partnerships for the company. Ash crafted PlanetSoft's strategy in the insurance industry, which included applying PlanetSoft's framework to build insurance specific solutions and establishing key client relationships to collaborate in the product build out. BRYAN ESHELBRENNER has managed design and development of the SmartOffice platform for more than a decade, having led efforts to implement Ebix CRM’s integration capabilities and services architecture. As Director of Integration and Data Services, Bryan collaborates closely with other Ebix divisions, customers who develop for the SmartOffice platform, and integration partner software vendors. Although his primary focus has been on CRM, this focus has lead into the area of electronic straight-through processing that incorporates quote/illustrations proposal generation, new account opening, eForms management, eSignatures, pending case management, ePolicy delivery, investment data delivery, proprietary integration, and mobile solutions. MARK KRANTZ has been with Ebix since 2006 and runs the Research, Quoting and Illustration groups based in Park City, Utah. Mark has worked in many capacities to continue the great tradition of WinFlex, VitalSigns and VitalTerm. He is tasked with expanding the reach and influence of these industry-standard products to a new audience of producers who use tablets and smartphones. SHERRI ISAACSON is part of the SmartOffice team. In her current role she works closely with BGAs and carriers to improve new business tracking, further automate the transmission of commission data and streamline the application process from illustration to delivery. She also works closely with other Ebix divisions to reinforce and expand SmartOffice’s role as the centerpiece of Ebix’s straight-through processing solution.

JANET RUFFING has been helping insurance and financial services professional achieve success in their practices using the Ebix Suite of products for more than 22 years. Her breadth of experience has spanned customer support, marketing, documentation and training. In her current role leading the Client Services, Customer Support and Training teams, Janet interacts with a diverse cross section of the Ebix user base. Her understanding of the highly individualized needs of Ebix’s customers helps ensure that businesses meet their objectives using Ebix technology. TOM LeBLEU is the Vice President of Operations for Ebix Exchange. In this role, he oversees client support and solution delivery teams for the SmartOffice, AnnuityNet, LifeSpeed, Winflex, and Vital Sales platforms. Tom rejoined Ebix in July 2013 after three years of consulting independently with various clients including National Western Life, FAST, Transamerica, and Ash Brokerage. Prior to this Tom was the Director of Business Consulting with E-Z Data which was later acquired by Ebix. Tom previously worked as the Vice President of Marketing Strategy for National Financial Partners and he began his career with Accenture where he worked primarily with life insurance carriers for almost twelve years. NAZIR DAMJI started his Insurance journey with Sun Life in 1975 (originally Mutual Life, Clarica after de-mutualization, which was acquired by Sun Life). Nazir has been underwriting and/or managing underwriting for almost 35 years. Nazir joined New York Life's joint venture in India in 2006. Nazir’s in his previous roles has been instrumental in the development of underwriting rules and guidelines for life, critical illness, including long term care, personal health insurance and annuities. He has also been involved in product developments and reinsurance management. LORRAINE YOUNG has been providing strong program management leadership and subject matter expertise to our TPP customers, including Manulife, Mass Mutual, and Desjardins. Lorraine brings a unique perspective to client engagements as she was the Program Manager and Business Owner for Sun Life during their engagement with PlanetSoft to implement the first The Policy Processor system. She directed the review and approval of life, health and P&C policy forms for the Massachusetts Division of Insurance, while actively working with the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission to establish policy form filing standards. PHILOMENA DiCICCO has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her ability to translate the technology into practical tools served as a stepping stone to take on the challenges of the home office environment at the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. Phil was the designated Subject Matter Expert at Penn Mutual for the E-Z Data products. She joined the E-Z Data team in 2007 (which became Ebix) as a SmartOffice trainer. Shortly thereafter, Phil began work on client conversions and new implementations. She has worked with Corporate, BGA. B/D and Retail customers - in the United States and Canada. Most recently, she has added Straight Through Processing projects – specializing in client workflows – to her skill set.
