Climate and Location

• Temperate Deciduas Forests are located in North America, South America, Asia and even Europe

• The other name for this Biome is a Temperate Forest

• My biome’s precipitation it is mostly 100 cm per year (mostly snowfall and rain)

• It is cold in Winter and hot in Summer

Animals

• This biome has these animals… Worms, insects, salamanders, snakes, squirrels, raccoons, skunks, rabbits, bears, and even deer

• Many animals hibernate but the deer mouse stays active during the winter months, the deer mouse stores seeds and grains to eat

Plants

• Some plants are Maples, Oaks, and even Hickories

• During the Winter, the ground is filled with snow and branches of the trees are bare

Man’s Impact

• The positive side is that animals have a good and pretty habitat

• The Negative side is that men and woman cut down there homes (trees)
