Capabilities

Telecan Space provides a complete solution all needs related to thermal andmechanicalanalysis,designandtesting:

¤ All levels of assembly: Our services cover all the levels of assembly of bothspaceandterrestrialhardware(i.e.unit,subsystemandsystemlevel.)

¤ During all development phases: Our services cover the entire developmentprocess of both space and terrestrial hardware (i.e. determination ofrequirements,design,manufacturingandtesting.)

¤ Qualificationforspaceenvironments:Wecanre-designandqualifyterrestrialhardwaretomeettheenvironmentalrequirementsofspace.

Tools

For analysis and design we use a combination of in-house tools and commercialsoftware.We have extensive experiencewith all themajor commercial software forthermal design (Sinda G, Sinda/Fluint, Maya, Thermal desktop, Thermica, ESATAN)andmechanical(Nastran,SolidWorks,)design.

TestfacilitiesTelecan Space coulduse either the customer's facilities orDavid Florida Laboratoryfacilitiesfordevelopmentandtestingofhardware.AbouttheDavidFloridaLaboratory(DFL)facilities:DFLisCanada'sworldclassspacecraftassembly,integrationandtestingcentrelocatedinOttawa.Named inhonourof oneofCanada'spioneers in spaceresearch,C.DavidFlorida.TheDFLismaintainedandoperatedbytheCanadianSpaceAgency.It is registered as ISO 9001:2008 for radio frequency, structural, and thermalqualificationtestingofspaceboundandterrestrialhardware.
