7. Vision Statement
Why have a vision statement?
A vision statement takes the values of what the organization is trying to accomplish and uses those values to inspire all involved to work towards their goals.
8. Sample Technology Vision Statement:Bethel School District Eugene, Oregon
Students in the Bethel School District will use technology in an ethical and appropriate manner within a safe and nurturing educational environment. Students will have appropriate access to technological tools that enable them to investigate, analyze, problem solve, create and then present ideas and information to others. The use of technology will help prepare students for the challenges they will confront as adults in the twenty-first century. The infusion of technology must also be a catalyst for changing and improving the way instruction is delivered and the roles in the educational process of both staff and students.
