SMC CME / CNE / CPE accreditaon are being finalised Course Descripon Technology-Enhanced Learning is everywhere with the influx of new technology and has become an accepted educational tool and platform to support and augment teaching and learning in health professions education. To keep up with whats changing (and what isnt), educators must know where to look. Although technology-enhanced learning in health professions education has demonstrated positive learning outcomes, promotes interaction between students/trainees and instructors, and positive assessment outcomes, significant body of research has shown that most teachers have been slow to transform the ways they teach. This introductory level workshop is designed as an introduction to the topic for beginners and might also be useful as a refresher course for more experienced practitioners to expose the educators on the following: The workshop will: 1. Introduce technology-enhanced learning tools such as use of videos, mobile, and learning management system 2. Introduce technology-enhanced learning modality such as blended learning and flipped classroom. 3. Share a variety of reusable digital learning objects used in undergraduate and postgraduate education, by demonstrating their use at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and National University Health System, Singapore 4. Discuss best practices in technology-enhanced learning Cancellations received on or before 27 Feb 2020: Full refund (less off $50 admin fee). Cancellations received between 28 Feb—28 Mar 2020: Refund of 50% of the workshop fee. Cancellations received between 29 Mar—27 Apr 2020: No refund. Any cancellation or replacement must be conveyed in writing to the organiser. Registration can be only confirmed upon full payment. CenMED reserves the rights to change the date / timing / location etc. Note for NUS Staff: This program is accredited with 1 elective hour by Centre for Development of Teaching and Learning (CDTL), NUS. Course Description

Technology-Enhanced Learning is everywhere with the influx of new technology and has become an accepted educational tool and platform to support and augment teaching and learning in health professions education. To keep up with what’s changing (and what isn’t), educators must know where to look.
